you will find work zone still active on northbound 95 between falmouth and frederick's. -- frederick. and on the beltway in virginia in both directions near route 7. those ramps should open momentarily. now let's go back to news. >> one man is dead and another wounded in a shooting in southeast washington. it happened before midnight in the 5000 block of h street. we don't know what led to the shooting or if police have a suspect. investigators and community members will come together tonight to search for answers in two unsolved murders in prince george's county. police will hand out flyers seeking information about amber stanley's murder during a community walk in kettering. the 17-year-old high-school student was shot and killed in

her bedroom on august 22. her killer is still almost. prince george's county police will hold a community meeting tonight to brief president on where things stand in the search for another teenager's killer. marckel ross was shot and killed on september 11 as he walked to central high school in capitol heights. investigators are searching for suspects. tonight's meeting is at 7:00 at central high school. d.c. public service commission set to vote this afternoon on pepco's proposed rate hike. members of an advocacy group last night rallied outside the headquarters in downtown washington. pepco workers are expected to vote today on the union contract. if the deal is not reached, they could go on strike. this would be the first strike by them since 1985. the main sticking point is a changed to their health and welfare plans. a meeting today in d.c. on a

plan to put power lines underground to reduce future storm related power outages. the mayor's task force is holding the meeting at room g9 of the wilson building. it's open to the public and will begin at 2:00 p.m. we are following a developing story in herndon. a candlelight vigil will be held tonight for a family of four found dead inside their home. it's not clear what led to it. two parents and two school-age children. police were responding to a welfare check yesterday when they found the bodies in the house on point rider lane. neighbors are shocked. >> it's really sad. i don't even know how to explain it. >> there are no answers in herndon. late tuesday night investigators continued to gather evidence inside the home. earlier in the day, police found an entire family, two parents

and two sons dead inside the house. the older brother attended westfield high school and his younger brother went to middle school. the parents or often seen sitting in chairs on the front porch and there were known in the community as the neighborhood greeterws. -- greeters. >> i always would wave to him. >> police say the public is not in danger, which typically means the person responsible is no longer live. >> it is so shocking especially the children. they had their whole lives. it's tragic. >> if there was turmoil within the home, those outside the family were not aware. >> there were always nice. nobody in the neighborhood ever saw them fighting or are doing or anything like that.

>> authorities have not released a motive or the identities of the victim's. from looking at social media westfield high school students are talking about wearing black to school on wednesday. jay korff reporting. breaking news from afghanistan. jummy olabanji has details. >> nato confirms two service members were killed this morning during an insurgent attacks in afghanistan. the two troops were members of the international military coalition. we of not received any details about them. nato says they were attacked by militants in the eastern section of afghanistan. nato has not released the nationalities of the two soldiers killed. 285 nato service members have been killed in that country this year. back to you. >> thank you. the race for the white house
